NCT & WayV
With a current lineup of 23 members and a very unique concept NCT is rapidly gaining attention and popularity worldwide. NCT’s makeup artists seem to stick with their tried and true — Estée Lauder Double Wear and Etude House Double Lasting Foundation. The makeup artists have been using these two products from earlier comebacks right up to the most recent promotions for RESONANCE. They are both very high quality foundations and perform similarly on the face. NCT’s stylist has also used NARS Sheer Glow Foundation on Jeno when he hosted The Show.
Another thing worth noting is that NCT 127 are ambassadors for Nature Republic and NCT DREAM are ambassadors for CandyLab Cosmetics. The makeup artist used Nature Republic Green Derma Mild Cica Serum Cover Cushion on NCT 127 members. For the CandyLab photoshoot NCT DREAM members were using CandyLab Double Pop Peach Dewy Tone Up & Cover Cushion.
CLC
In Sorn’s Everyday Makeup Tutorial she said that she doesn’t really like to use foundation because it feels too thick. Instead she prefers a cushion which is much lighter on the skin and is more comfortable for daily wear. The cushion that Sorn likes is the Too Cool For School Fixing Cover Cushion. She also mentioned that CLC members Seungyeon and Elkie like this cushion as well.
To complete her base makeup Sorn also uses the Innisfree No Sebum Mineral Pact and her favorite Courcelles Concealer Pencil. Lisa likes many different products including Dior Dream Skin Perfect Skin Foundation; Le Blanc Foundation; Moonshot Micro Setting Fit Cushion; Moonshot Micro Correctfit Cushion; and Chanel Natural Finish Loose Powder.
In a Refinery29 video, Blackpink’s makeup artist Myungsun Lee used Dior Backstage Face and Body Foundation to recreate Jennie’s iconic look from the “Kill This Love” music video. Click here to see the full makeup look.
Lisa was chosen by MAC Cosmetics to be the first ever k-pop idol representing the brand. For a fun holiday party look, Lisa wore MAC Studio Fix Fluid Foundation and the Extra Dimension Skinfinish Highlighter in Snow Gold.
Tiffany Young
Tiffany Young shared all her beauty secrets in a video for Vogue’s YouTube channel. She showed the viewers her daily makeup products and gave some beauty tips as well. Tiffany emphasized the importance of using base products before applying foundation. First she mixed a small amount of RMK Creamy Polished Base Primer and Etude House Glow On Oil Volume Base together on the back of her hand. Then she applied the primer evenly all over her face before starting her base makeup.
For the actual base makeup Tiffany used RMK Liquid Foundation and applied it in a thin even layer using a flat foundation brush. Click here if you’re interested in seeing her full skin care and makeup routine.
